She tried to rip me off for $562.50, when I demanded statements she wouldn't respond, when I cancelled the check because of the double charge and no response or explanation from her, instead of explaining, she threatened legal!
This is exactly what I told the woman who runs Diversified Accounting and Tax Services! But she INSISTED I file in South Carolina. So now Im out $10,500 due to her idiocy.
If you do decide to use her, watch for "magically appearing charges" on your invoice. She has some sort of arrogant idea about herself that she is smarter than the rest of us.
If you question anything, her tactic is to either yell and become emotional to embarass you into silence or try and talk over your head in an attempt to confuse you. Just make sure you always ask for the breakdowns and the statements. If she ever does give them to you, make sure to verify them closely.
I accepted her challenge and since she has backed down! Don't just walk, but run away from this person and her practice!
I recommend you RUN AWAY if are considering using her services!
The woman who runs this outfit can best be described as little miss goody goody two shoes. She cost me $10,500 because she insisted I file a South Carolina income tax form even though the 1099s issued to an address there were only a mail drop for me during a period of unemployment.
They said to me, and I quote, "You should have never filed in South Carolina".
When presented with the $10,500 bill, I contacted the South Carolina dept of revenue and explained the 1099 was issued to the state by accident as this was only a mail drop for me.
