Worse motel hotel ever!!! Dirty, old cracked dirty furniture. Old smelly carpet and cortines. Phone doesn't work. Pool gate doesn't work they use a broom to keep open not safe for kids. Room got flooded they charged me $ 560 for one week and my room was the worse near the end and got flooded water was accumulating next to my door and made the dirty carpet smell really bad.Told them to move me to a new room they said sorry we can't!! Like coffee so I went to front desk and saw coffee was over , asked the lady if she could make a fresh one she said oh I will ask my manager, an Indian guy and he said NO right looking in my eyes!!! Horrible costumer service, very poor looking hotel, also we were checking out at 1 to a new resort we found and we took our son to school and came back at 12:30. after running errands to find out they were already cleaning our room there was two housekeepers there when we asked them before we left to run errands for a late check out, they said yes but even with the do not disturb sign on the door they were there and they removed about 20 Amazon packages from our bed and took everything to the front desk... those were my husband packages for his job contract he was a driver delivering packages to Borego Springs and he left the packages there so we could have more space in his car to move our lugages... my husband could got in trouble with his boss on case those packages went missing so yes horrible place, we were really stressed out during our stay there.
Courteous. New Ownership. Cash with deposit. Ice machine available. Coffee in office available. Washer&dryer no longer there. Refrigerator in room. Flat screen TV with plenty of English speaking channels. :)
I was incredibly wary of the Ramona Valley Inn but once my family arrived that changed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and well kept. It's an older place, there's no hiding that, but it's everything my little family needs on our weekend vacation. The rooms have no hairdryer, microwave, or refrigerator but that's no big loss. There are lots of little shops to check out and a few restaurants as well. All in all I would totally stay here again!
We've been visiring Ramona at least once a year for 5 years. My family always stays at the Ramona Inn. It's not a five star hotel but if you need a place to stay that's near Main St and isn't going to cost much, Ramon Inn is the right hotel for you. It's an older hotel but it's been maintained nicely. The new owners have made some improvements and it shows. Pros: Within walking distance of Main St Inexpensive Comfortable Staff is nice and helpful Clean and has been maintained well Pool (we have never used it) Cons: Older hotel Parking is tight around the Inn Loud, being that it sits right on main I would recommend the Ramona Inn if you need a place to stay that is on Main St and is not expensive but not if you are expecting a high end hotel.
Good place to stay. Reasonable price. Clean room. Excellent water pressure in shower. Lots of hot water. Walking distance to several restaurants, bars and stores. Will stay here again.
